IBM Compatibles Animations

This category includes computers produced in the eighties and early nineties running PC DOS or MS DOS.

All models used processors based on the Intel x86 family. The 20-bit address space consisted of multiple 16-bit segments.

The operating system was textual and supported a single task at a time.

Graphics cards which were used for animations had a palette of 16 million colors and 256 color registers. The screen resolution was 64,000 pixels.
