JHotDraw and AnyWikiDraw released

by werner on October 19th, 2009

I finally managed to squeeze in a few hours to create new releases of the JHotDraw and the AnyWikiDraw projects.

JHotDraw is a framework for drawing editors. In the newly released versions 7.3 and 7.3.1 I redesigned the JavaBeans support in the framework. Now it is possible to use weakly linked listeners, which greatly helps creating drawing editors which properly clean up their object references (read: which don’t leak memory like a sieve). I also got the clipboard working on Snow Leopard. I had to access NSPasteboard using native code, because screenshots are not accessible from the Java clipboard.

AnyWikiDraw is a drawing editor for Wikis. The latest release 0.14 adds support for the MoinMoin Wiki. This code was contributed by developers from MoinMoin.
