public class OpenApplicationFileAction
extends AbstractApplicationAction

Opens a file for which an open-request was sent to the application.

The file name is passed in the action command of the action event.

This action is called when the user drops a file on the dock icon of DefaultOSXApplication or onto the desktop area of DefaultMDIApplication.

If you want this behavior in your application, you have to create an action with this ID and put it in your ApplicationModel in method ApplicationModel.initApplication(org.jhotdraw.app.Application).

Features

Allow multiple views per URI
When the feature is disabled, OpenApplicationFileAction prevents opening an URI which is opened in another view.

Open last URI on launch
OpenApplicationFileAction supplies data for this feature by calling Application.addRecentURI(java.net.URI) when it successfully loaded a file. See org.jhotdraw.app for a description of the feature.
