Deely Bopper
An animation drawn 'live' for my seminar on 2D animation given at AmiJAM '93 in Calgary, Canada. This is an example of squash and stretch, acceleration (slow in – slow out), recoil (the tendency for an object/character to go backward a bit before going forward), and overlapping action with follow-through (the «Deely Bopper» that drags behind the main body and shots ahead when it stops. The eyes were just put on for fun.
