Screenmate “Neko” in Java
Neko is Japanese for cat. According to Wikipedia it was originally written for the NEC PC-9801. I know it from the OS/2 program of the same name.

I made the old design in 2003 with a site of a few dozen pages in mind – today I have got a few thousand pages. In hindsight, the CSS and the layout techniques that I used are very quirky. I blame it on my lack of experience and on the many little compromises I had to make for IE 6.
Now it is time for a fresh start, and I was looking for a good framework onto which I could base my layout.

JHotDraw 7.4 Released
JHotDraw is a framework for structured drawing editors. Many people don’t know – at least I guess that they don’t – that JHotDraw actually consists of two frameworks. The second one is a framework for document oriented applications.
The Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W1 has a 3D screen which allows to perceive the depth of a stereo image without having to wear special glasses. Now, how can we convey depth on a regular computer screen?
I bought myself a Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W1 camera for christmas. 🙂
