Blockade Runner A Corellian Corvette (CR90 Blockade Runner) manages to get out of reach of a big twirling asteroid as suddenly two X-wing fighters crossing the flight path of the ship. The Corellian Corvette is one of the most versatile spacecraft, covering a wide range of uses from troop transport to cargo ship to passenger carrier. Unlike most vessels, which are highly specialized in function, the Corvette is so easily converted to varying tasks that it is found throughout the galaxy. Princess Leia Organa's consular vessel the Blockade Runner, which was afforded diplomatic immunity due to her ambassadorial status, frequently ran mercy missions as cover for assignments to aid Alliance efforts. Leia's starship could circumvent Imperial blockades due to its protected status.
