Some CG History

This is a small, personal collection of computer graphics memorabilia from my early Amiga days. It's a sampling of the demos I was watching, the programs I was using, and the images I was making in the benighted times before "multimedia" became a word.

Juggler. One of the earliest full-color 3D raytraced animations rendered and displayed on a personal computer. In fact, I know of no earlier example than this famous demo by Eric Graham.

Amiga 3D. Screen grabs of early Amiga 3D programs. The tour includes stops for Sculpt, Turbo, VideoScape, and LightWave. A generation of CG artists and programmers can trace their roots to Amiga software.

My Stuff. I bought my A1000 in the Spring of 1986, and for the first year and a half my experiments were all 2D.
