Things I've Rendered

These are a few pages that in one form or another have been on my site from the beginning. While not old enough to qualify for the CG history bin, they were done at a time when I was using 3D software more than I was writing it. The links on the pages were most recently updated in July, 2004.

My Office. What my office looked like in 1996, before radiosity was available to make it look more realistic. I'm still down here, though, so one day I may come back to this and do it right.

Environment Visualization. Smoke and dust plumes. This is how I got started in 3D a decade ago, more or less on a dare from a physicist named David Bacon.

Color Spaces. Paul Schlyter, keeper of several widely read technical FAQs, recently added a link to this page from his TV Systems page.

DNA Molecule. I remember having a terrible cold the day I started figuring out how to do these. They started out as an ARexx script on the Amiga, before plug-ins existed.
